The top of this uke is made of red cedar from Alaska Specialty Woods that is from a fallen tree  that had been sitting on the forest floor for many years and was covered with moss. Over the years some of the minerals in the wood get replaced and make the wood a little more dense and "crisp". The result is a uke with a little more projection than normal.

The fingerboard and bridge on this ukulele are made of Amazon Rosewood. The rosette and binding are curly maple

There is black and white purfling around the top and the rosette.

Strings are Pepe Romero Low G with custom fluorocarbon for the C, E, and A strings.

The back and sides sides are a nice curly walnut from Pacific Coast Woods

The neck is Honduran Mahogany reinforced with a carbon rod. The tuners are black Gotoh planetary tuners.

The headstock is curly walnut.

(note: I normally don't cut the strings to length until the uke is ready to leave my shop.)
