I'm calling this concert “ Pretty Little Koa” because it is.
Ric wanted two concert sized ukuleles this time, and this is one of them. I asked if he wanted high or low G strings on them and he said, “how about one of each”. This one got the low G.

The tone is warm and sweet, even as a concert.
The back is a little more dramatic than the front, but the color tone is the same.
The backstrip is East Indian Rosewood which matches the binding, fretboard and bridge.
The accents are a Bigleaf Maple Burl that is very cool.
I went back to the black Gotoh tuners for this one.
The neck is Honduran Mahogany with a carbon fiber truss rod.
The fingerboard and bridge are East Indian rosewood. Nut and saddle are natural water buffalo bone.
As always, there is a side soundport. The sides match the top and back very nicely.
The thin rosette is Paua Abalone with thin black and white striping around the border.
