“Runway" Koa Tenor

I'm calling this koa tenor “Runway" because there is a slightly lighter colored pathway running up the middle of the front of this ukulele.​

The tone is warm and sweet, as you would expect in a Koa tenor.

The back matches the front and you can see the lighter pathway at the top of the picture.

The center strip is East Indian rosewood that matches the binding.

The accents are a golden brown amboyna burl that is really interesting.

I used black Gotoh tuners this time.

The neck is Honduran Mahogany with a carbon fiber truss rod. 

The fingerboard and bridge are East Indian rosewood. Nut and saddle are natural water buffalo bone.

The rosette and purfling are Paua Abalone with thin black and white striping around the borders.​

The koa headstock, has its own runway down the middle.
